Ticket for Euro-2012 released

Tickets for the match of Euro 2012 will have six or seven degrees of protection, based on its design - the symbols of the Future Championship. This was announced during the official presentation of passes to the tournament matches that took place on Monday, 23 April, on the main stage of continental football championship – the Olympic NSC in Kyiv. The main background of the ticket is purple. It depicts a flower, the symbol of the tournament, which indicates the serial number of the match.

Two leaves of the flowers display the flags of the countries whose national teams are participating in the game in question. There is also information about the stadium hosting the game with layout and entrances indicated, while all the main security elements are located on the back of the ticket.

The design on ticket using the example of the ticket for the first game to be played by the Ukrainian national team, against the Swedish team on 11 June, was presented to the winner of the contest for the children’s picture for Euro-2012, Darynka Kovtun, by the director of the LOC "Euro-2012 Ukraine" Markiyan Lubkivskyi and UEFA Chief Operating Officer Martin Kallen.

"The ticket will have six or seven layers of protection. The main ones are the hologram and unique identification code. And stewards who will work directly in the stadiums will know five or six degrees more," Martin Kallen said.
